THE IMPACT OF WORK MOTIVATION AND INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOUR ON TEACHER PERFORMANCE AT PUBLIC VOCATIONAL SCHOOL (SMK) 1 JEUMPA, BIREUEN DISTRICT

The purpose of this study is to analyse the impact of; 1. Work motivation on teacher performance at Public Vocational School (SMK) 1 Jeumpa, Bireuen district, 2. Innovative work behaviour on teacher performance at Public Vocational School (SMK) 1 Jeumpa, Bireuen district.The results of this study are ; a. Work motivation and innovative work behaviour simultaneously affect the teacher performance at Public Vocational School (SMK) 1 Jeumpa, Bireuen district,  b. achievement level of work motivation for 34 teachers at SMK 1 Jeumpa is 82,88 %. this achievement level is classified in a good rate, yet it can still be improved, c. the impact of innovative work behaviour on teacher performance is not successful since only 85,14 % of the behaviour can be implemented. there are some variables in terms of achievement level of teacher performance.  firstly, based on pedagogic competency is not successful since only 80,41% is applied. The second variable which is personality competency shows that the level achievement of teacher performance is not quite successful, only 85,88% implemented. according to professional competency, only 80,22% of professional competence is applied. Achievement level of teacher performance based on social competency is also not well implemented, only 78,85% successfully applied. d. from this equation: Y= 56,168 + 0,282 X1 + 0,620 X2, there two important key findings. First, if the work motivation increased 10% so that the teacher performance will increase 2,82%. Second, if the innovative work behaviour increased 10%, therefore the teacher performance will increase 6,20%.
