TUNJANGAN SERTIFIKASI DAN KINERJA DOSEN (Sebuah Sudut Pandang)

Lecturer Certification Allowance is an allowance given by the government to lecturers who already have an educator certificate. The provision of this allowance is done as an effort from the government to increase the professionalism of lecturers in the tri dharma field of higher education. This study aims to analyze and explain the effect of certification allowances lecturers and work motivation on the performance of lecturers at Medan State University. This research is a qualitative research. This study uses primary data obtained from the results of filling out questionnaires and in-depth interviews with research subjects, as well as secondary data obtained from the results of literature analysis and the results of the analysis of previous studies relevant to the title of this study. The sample used in this study involved a lecturer who had received lecturer certification as a respondent from the tertiary institution. The results of this study showed that the provision of lecturer certification allowances and work motivation of lecturers jointly had a positive effect on the performance of lecturers.
