ABSTRAK

Rendahnya hasil belajar terhadap materi turunan disebabkan oleh penguasaan konsep dasar yang tidak ada dan kurangnya keinginan mahasiswa khususnya prodi teknologi informasi dalam mengikuti mata kuliah kalkulus. Oleh karena itu diterapkan model pembelajaran LearningStartsWith a Question dengan tujuan dapat berpengaruh pada hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan penerapan model, jadi mahasiswa pun termotivasi dalam belajar karena pembelajaran nya bukan seperti biasa yang hanya monoton pada dosennya, tidak hanya mendengarkan, akan tetapi ikut berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  penelitian one-grouppretest-posttestdesign, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang ada pada program studi teknologi informasi dan sampel yang diambil adalah hanya 1 kelas, yaitu kelas TI unit B sebanyak 22 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh  yaitu 5,36 1,72472. Dengan demikian hipotesis menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran LearningStartsWith a Question terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi turunan semester I jurusan teknologi informasi di Universitas AlMuslim.

ABSTRACT

The low yield learning of the material caused by the derivative mastery of basic concepts that do not exist and the lack of willingness of students especially in the information technology department of the course follows the calculus. Therefore applied learning models LearningStartsWith a Question with the objective may impact on student results with the application of the model, so students were motivated to learn because learning it is not usual that only monotonous at his professor, not only listen, but to actively participate in learning ongoing. This study uses a study design one-grouppretest-posttestdesign, population in this study were all students there on the course for information technology and samples taken is only one class, the class B units of IT as many as 22 students. The research showed   that 5.36  Thus the hypothesis states that there are significant learning model LearningStartsWith a Question to the learning outcomes of students in the first semester of the material derivative majoring in information technology at the AlMuslim University.
