AN ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH LECTURERS’ ATTITUDE IN TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS

ABSTRACT

This research aims to find out and analyze how are lecturers attitude toward students in achieving student learning success. This study use a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting the data used observation, questionnaire and interview. First, the researcher observe the lecturer who is teaching in the classroom. Second, the researcher gave a questionnaire to students. Third, the researcher was interview to the lecturers and students in question.The result of the study show that: the attitude of the lecturer in the teaching and learning process is fair. All indicators of Lecturers attitude not have been fulfilled well. The researcher found that the average of students’ questionnaire score was 40,8 and it can be classify as the Fair Attitude. This research hopefully provides information about the attitude of teacher and their influence on student learning outcomes on SMAN 1 kepenuhan.
