PEMBENTUKAN FAKTOR MODAL INSAN DAN DAYA SAING DALAM KALANGAN USAHAWAN WANITA BUMIPUTERA

Human  resource  development  oftheir  skills,  abilities,  creativity  and  talent  are  the factors contained in human capital as well as competitiveness aspect. Hence, the emphasis on human capital development and competitveness aspect is important to become a good leader for family community and country. It also important in ensuring entrepreneurs can compete in market economy today and they are able to meet customer demand. In the context of socio-economic development of a country, women can contribute in improving the country's economy through Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). However, the participation of women in SMEs is still less than men. Thus, emphasisment on the factors that are able to contribute in improving human capital and competitiveness of women is important. This is because, the right factor will enable the  government  carried  out  in  accordance  with  the  factors  that  have  been  identified.  In obtaining  the  factors  contribute  to  human  capital  development,  the  survey  method  was conducted on 145 respondents among Bumiputera women entrepreneurs in Melaka state and support with qualitative data form 10 informants. The findings through exploratory factor analysis found that there are four main factors that contribute to human capital development among  Bumiputera  women  entrepreneurs  is  education  and  training,  experience,  socia supportand.creativity,  while  three  main  factors  that  contribute  to  competitiveness  among Bumiputera  women  entrepreneurs  is  financial  assistance,  facilities  and  infrastructure  and commitment.Thus, the government is advised to emphasize education and training also financial assistance to improve their abilities on human capital and competitiveness and the appropriate support to meet women entrepreneurs needs.
